  1. ill need to somewhat disagree with number one because if you aren't taking steroids and you take the gym and lifting seriously, of course you are going to be far healthier and disciplined than anybody that does not lift especially if you count your macros.

  2. Watchmojo, Saying that cardio is what you need to do to lose fat is terrible advice. Weight training is more important because if all you do is cardio, then you'll also lose muscle and become skinny fat. You need to lift weights while in a caloric deficit to retain strength and the muscle you have. Cardio is not what burns fat, burning more calories than you take in burns fat. You should do some actual research before giving advice to people.

  3. I work out and lift weights. But I suspect that, in a few years time, fashions will change again, muscular men will be seen as vulgar, and we'll revert to a more level-headed idea of what masculinity looks like. Personally, I'd rather have a physique that says "I'm a full-grown man with a fulfilling life" (like Michael Fassbender, Jon Hamm or young Sean Connery), than a physique that says "I spend loads of time in the gym" (i.e. Mark Whalberg or The Rock).

  4. YOU ARE FUCKING STUPID WATCH MOJO. YOU DO LOW WEIGHT HIGH REPS NOT SET AT A CERTAIN POINT. IF YOU DO LOW WEIGHTS YOU LIFT UNTIL YOU CAN LIFT NO MORE. SAME WITH SUPER HEAVY WEIGHTS SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE. I DIS ZERO. ABSOLUTELY ZERO CARDIO ALL I DID WAS LIFT WEIGHTS. IM 6'5" AND HAVE THE METABOLISM OF THE SLOWEST ANIMAL ON THE EARTH IT FEELS LIKE. BUT IN ONE SUMMER I WENT FROM HABING A BEER GUT(FIGURE OF SPEECH)TO ALMOST HAVING VISIBLE ABS. I WENT FROM 258 TO 213 IN ONE SUMMER. ONLY EATING MEAT AND VEGETABLES(PALEO DIET) AND ONLY LIFTING WEIGHTS ABAOLUTELY NO CARDIO. SO BEFORE THOU SQUIRTEST THY BULLSHIT OUT OF THY SHITTER. PLEASE DO AT LEAST 5 MINUTES OF RESEARCH. THANK YOU THAT IS ALL.

  5. Well, technically you are not correct about weight lifting stunting growth,
but its not the weight lifting itself,
    As with gymnastics,
I'm talking strictly about (over training),
at a very high intensity can and is PROVEN to stunt growth and slow down puberty cycles,
in young persons, thereby actually stunting growth,
so if a child over intensely muscle builds,
this is were the stunt growth problem originates,
so your myth on this specific part of your observations is also presumably wrong.

weight lifting in a fashion of over intensity at a young age can stunt growth,
    ask any gymnast.

  6. #5

my ex used to refuse to do weights bc she was afraid to get bulky even when i told her all the specifics of how that wouldnt happen

i honestly think women just have an aversion to weights and they use that as an excuse like men hate cardio and find an excuse around it usually

  7. Steroids isn't a short cut dumbass kids don't listen to half the shit this guy says he doesn't know shit about bodybuilding as he has never touched a weight or pussy in his life

  8. Body builder: Bulky ugly muscles and no brain. Fuck no!.
Martial artist: No big muscles, greater technique and use of all muscles and getting more out of what you already have, flexible body through stretching exercises, greatest motor skills, great philosophy study and mind and discipline training. Fuck yes

  9. Wroooong, lifting lots of light weights has good effect. Many burn the muscle so well that lifting 1kg hurts. If you have time same can be done using 1kg time, muscle will get damaged. Lifting heaviest weight 1 or 2 times rarely does nothing you need many repetitions to fully trash muscle.

  10. No idiot you do not need cardio In order to lose fat. It may speed up the process IF and only IF you're eating the right foods, sticking to the right number calories etc. The one and only way to burn fat Is to stay In a caloric deficit. Doing this allows the body to use fat as fuel In order to lose It.

  11. Got into an argument with one of my gym bros about the negative effects of steroids. He really believed there were no dangers in using steroids and given the opportunity he said he would use them because that's how obsessed he is with a larger physique.
